Basel city tours with young refugees

Invitation:
Do you know how young refugees experience our city? Where do they go and why? Young refugees and young people from our Swiss youth project imagine explore the city where they live but rarely meet in everyday life.

Due to their accommodation and access to specific educational opportunities, young refugees are almost exclusively surrounded by people who are in a similar situation to themselves. Exchange and contact with young people from Switzerland is difficult. However, they are very interested in contact with the Swiss population. This is why terre des hommes schweiz and the International Social Service (SSI) developed the idea of city tours together with the young people from imagine. These offer young people with a refugee background and young people from Switzerland – as well as the people of Basel – the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.

The very first public city tour will take place next June 30: You are cordially invited to attend!
