The center for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in Affoltern opens its doors on Saturday, October 19 and invites you to visit. In addition to the opportunity to find out how the young people live at the Lilienberg center, they will present the results of their imagine workshop “What is home?” to visitors on this day.
Since Monday, unaccompanied minor asylum seekers have been on the road in Knonauer Amt to present their home countries to the local population. They developed their presentations during a workshop week with young people from imagine.
Get to know the young people and their home countries
In addition to the presentations in the communities (terre des hommes schweiz reported), the young people are preparing for the highlight of this week: the open day at the MNA Center Lilienberg (MNA – mineurs non accompagnés). They will be presenting their image of home at various stands (see photo). The public is cordially invited to the open day at the MNA Center Lilienberg to get in touch with the young people and learn about their image of home and their life here in Switzerland.
A journey through four countries
A journey through the country houses takes visitors through Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Eritrea and West Africa. The doors of the Lilienberg are also open to everyone. A festival restaurant and play activities for children will invite visitors to linger and chat. terre des hommes schweiz will also be on site with its morphing stand.
