Our diverse network promotes discussion, helps to share information and enables the use of synergies and the specialist knowledge of the individual organisations.

terre des hommes schweiz has an alliance with Terre des Hommes Suisse. The two organisations implement joint programmes in Switzerland, Colombia and Brazil, and coordinate their advocacy work at a national level.
Alliance Sud is Switzerland’s centre of excellence for international cooperation and development policy. terre des hommes schweiz is a member of Alliance Sud. The organisation works towards the goal of a coherent Swiss policy towards the countries of the Global South.
KOFF is a platform for state and non-state actors engaged in peacebuilding. The competence centre strengthens the skills of Swiss organsations and their international partners in civil peacebuilding. For terre des hommes schweiz, it offers the opportunity for discussion as part of our ‘culture of peace’ focal point.
Climate Action Accelerator, a non-profit initiative, aims to mobilise a critical mass of organisations from the population to limit global warming to below 2°C and avoid the risk of dangerous uncontrolled climate change. In alliance with Terre des Hommes Suisse and with the support of Climate Action Accelerator, terre des hommes schweiz has developed a climate and environmental roadmap with the aim of halving the CO₂ emissions of the two organisations by 2030.
The SDC coordinates Switzerland’s development cooperation and makes a significant contribution to its direction. In the alliance with Terre des Hommes Suisse in Geneva, terre des hommes schweiz receives a contribution from the SDC towards its programme work. This contribution is linked to the fulfillment of qualitative criteria that are regularly reviewed by the SDC.
The International Federation is the network of the 10 terre des hommes organisations worldwide. At international level, the Federation coordinates the interaction between the various organisations. It develops joint international campaign themes and has consultative status with the UN, UNICEF, the ILO (International Labour Organization) and the EU. terre des hommes schweiz chairs the Federation.
Klima-Allianz Schweiz [Climate Alliance Switzerland] is an alliance of more than 140 civil society organisations committed to climate justice and calling for the swift implementation of the Paris Agreement by Switzerland. terre des hommes schweiz is a member of Klima-Allianz Schweiz [Climate Alliance Switzerland].
Medicus Mundi Switzerland, the Health for All Network, is a voluntary association of around 50 Swiss organisations working in the field of international health cooperation, including terre des hommes schweiz.
The non-profit association Child Rights Network Switzerland is made up of Swiss non-governmental organisations that are committed to the recognition and implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Switzerland. The network’s main task is to report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, which regularly reviews the progress and obstacles to the realisation of children’s rights in Switzerland. terre des hommes schweiz chairs the network.
Platform Agenda 2030 is a coalition of around 50 civil society actors from the fields of development cooperation, environmental protection, gender, peace, sustainable business and trade unions. It contributes to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in and by Switzerland. terre des hommes schweiz is a member of the platform’s steering group.
The Swiss National Youth Council (SAJV) is the umbrella organisation for youth organisations in Switzerland. It works to ensure that young people can strengthen their skills and take on social responsibility.
The Swiss Alliance against SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) is fighting against the growing trend of Swiss NGOs being increasingly confronted with threats of legal action and lawsuits when they investigate human rights violations, corruption or environmental pollution. terre des hommes schweiz is a member of the Alliance.
