This message was originally intended to introduce this news. Unfortunately this is not quite true. Due to an injury Arnold will only be present as a spectator at the JKF.
The annual Youth Culture Festival (JKF) in Basel begins on Friday. 1700 participating young people show their creative potential on 11 stages. As in 2011, the organisers expect around 60,000 visitors. One visitor to this festival is of particular interest to terre des hommes schweiz: Arnold "The Cobra" Gjergjaj.

The heavyweight professional boxer and ambassador for terre des hommes schweiz, Arnold Gjergjaj, will also be at the JKF. Originally it was planned that he would use a show fight at the JKF to draw attention to his message "Sport instead of violence". Unfortunately this will not be possible. The injury on his back suffered during the sparring against Tyson Fury has turned out to be worse than expected. For this reason Gjergjaj will not be in the ring but at the ring and will keep his fingers crossed for the fighters.

Replacements have been provided. Michael Sprott, a befriended heavyweight boxer, 57 fights and 30 victories, will fight Erkan Teper, 10 fights and 10 victories. Besides this fight there will be some more amateur and professional fights during three hours.
