This is why the “Law without Borders” campaign has launched a performance tour in Bern from November 21 together with the “Art+Politics” network. The aim is to win over a broad audience for the campaign’s concerns.
Human rights violations are not a trivial offense. Copper mines in the Congo Textile factories in Bangladesh Cement factories in India: many multinational corporations are based in Switzerland. They are often active in developing countries and conflict zones. Their business there often has a massive impact on nature and people. However, the responsibility for this is not borne by the polluters. This is why clear rules are needed for corporations.
Performance on tour
The “Law without borders” campaign submitted a petition with over 135,000 signatures to the Federal Council in the summer. The Federal Council and Parliament have yet to make a clear commitment to binding rules for corporations based in Switzerland. This is why “Recht ohne Grenzen” has launched a performance tour together with the “Kunst+Politik” network. The aim is to address the conditions for local people and Switzerland’s responsibility in an artistic way and bring them closer to a broad audience.
