Girls and boys collect in Winterthur

At the beginning of Advent, children from the 4th to 6th grade collected donations in the old town of Winterthur for the “Supporting AIDS orphans” project in Tanzania. terre des hommes schweiz would like to thank more than just these pupils.

Advent is a time of contemplation. For many people, it is a time to give something. So did some girls and boys from the 4th to 6th grade in Winterthur. On December 4, the children from the Domino-Treff of the Evangelical-Ref. church in Winterthur sold handmade crafts in Winterthur’s old town.
Great effort in the freezing cold
On Marktgasse, they enthusiastically offered passers-by punch/coffee, roasted almonds, various gifts and festively decorated flower arrangements. Within four hours, in the sunshine and freezing cold, over 220 francs were raised. This amount was then transferred to the project “Support for AIDS orphans” in Tanzania. terre des hommes schweiz would like to thank the girls and boys of the Domino-Treff for their great commitment.
A big thank you and a good start to the new year
With this news, terre des hommes schweiz would like to thank not only these girls and boys, but also all donors, partners who have worked with us and all people who have shown interest in our work.
The team at terre des hommes schweiz would like to thank you for your cooperation and wish everyone happy holidays and a good start to the new year!
