Just a moment ago there was a market and a short time later everything is ready: The imagine Festival is already in the starting blocks. Next weekend (June 12/13), we at terre des hommes schweiz can once again look forward to a concentrated load of music and youth culture. The motto Gegenbewegung: Encounter opens up a lot of scope and, surprisingly, invites all kinds of encounters.
The festival of imagine is just around the corner! It starts again on Friday this week: 18 bands on two stages over two days! The bands (with individual songs) are described in even more detail on the program page of the imagine website.
The year of encounters
This year’s festival is dedicated to the annual motto “Gegenbewegung: Encounter”. Imagine facilitates encounters throughout the year with the aim of breaking down prejudices and promoting understanding. It takes courage to approach others. Talking to a stranger or even just smiling at them also means revealing a part of yourself and accepting rejection. imagine gives you courage, because understanding grows from encounters.
Encounters in the photo box
As the supporting organization of imagine, terre des hommes schweiz will also be at the festival this year. In addition to the opportunity to meet people from our team and find out more about us, we have organized a photo box this year. There, everyone can meet each other alone or with others in front of the camera and take this encounter home with them as a photo (or download). In addition, our boxing ambassador Arnold Gjergjaj will be stopping by at the imagine Festival and will be available for a short photo session in the photo box. We will announce the time on Facebook in the next few days.
