Just a moment ago there was still a market and a short time later everything is ready: The imagine festival is already in the starting blocks. Next weekend (June 12th/13th) we from terre des hommes schweiz can look forward to a concentrated load of music and youth culture. The motto "Counter-movement: Encounter opens up a lot of scope and, surprisingly, invites you to all kinds of encounters.
The festival of imagine is just around the corner! On Friday this week it starts again: 18 bands on two stages within two days! You can find the complete music program and the most necessary information on our website www.terredeshommesschweiz.ch/imagine15. The bands (with individual songs) are described in more detail on the program page of the imagine website.
The year of encounters
This year, the festival is under the motto of the year "Counter-movement: Encounter". Imagine enables encounters throughout the year with the aim of breaking down prejudices and promoting understanding. It takes courage to approach others. To speak to a stranger or even just smile at him/her means to reveal a piece of yourself and to accept rejection. Imagine gives courage, because understanding grows out of encounter.
Meeting in the photo box
terre des hommes schweiz, as the supporting organisation of imagine wird, will also be present at the festival this year. Besides the possibility to meet people from our team and learn more about us, we have organized a photo box this year. There everybody can meet alone or with others in front of the camera and take this meeting home as a photo (or download). In addition, our box ambassador Arnold Gjergjaj will come by the imagine Festival and will be available for a short time for a photo session in the photo box. We will announce the date on Facebook within the next days.
