Pedro wants nothing more than to see the sea. He is very surprised when his mother gives him a trip to an island for his tenth birthday. But then this vacation turns out to be completely different from what he had imagined. When Pedro finds out why his father didn't come along, he runs away blindly in anger and disappointment - until he no longer knows where he is. Reality, fantasy and dream come together in an almost magical way.
As one of the few aid organizations worldwide, terre des hommes schweiz works primarily with young people. They are no longer children enough to be considered worthy of protection. At the same time, they are not yet grown up enough to be taken seriously by society. They fall between a chair and a bench.
