the management and board of terre des hommes schweiz presented a positive financial statement for 2018 to the general meeting on 21 may. despite the more difficult conditions for organisations active in development cooperation, we were able to increase our income slightly. Thanks to cautious planning and reduced expenditure in administration and fundraising, more funds were available for our international project work. Thank you all for your support! On Tuesday, 28 May 2019, the foundation "Terre des hommes - Children's Aid Worldwide" announced that they had to dismiss several people due to a high deficit. We regret this very much. terre des hommes switzerland is not affected by this annual result, as it is an independent organisation.
There are three independent organisations in Switzerland under the name "Terre des Hommes": Our organisation, "terre des hommes schweiz" with its headquarters in Basel, our sister organisation "Terre des Hommes Suisse" based in Geneva and the Foundation "Terre des hommes - Child aid worldwide" based in Lausanne.
