On Monday, August 7, we received the news that Jaime Dambo Junior, our coordinator in Moçambique, has passed away. He worked for terre des hommes schweiz for over three years. We mourn his passing and thank him for his dedicated work. Our condolences go out to his family.
At the beginning of the week, on Monday, August 7th, we received the news that our coordinator in Moçambique, Jaime Dambo Júnior, passed away after a short illness. Jaime worked for us for more than three years. He was instrumental in shaping and developing our projects and the Moçambique country program. Through his targeted networking activities, he publicized and promoted our work with the authorities and other partners in Moçambique. Jaime will be remembered as a very committed, empathetic and humorous person who was always eager to help his fellow human beings. He leaves behind four children.
We are sad and at the same time grateful for the time we spent together.
