The QR invoice will replace the red and orange payment slips by September 30, 2022 at the latest. terre des hommes schweiz introduced the system at the beginning of the new year.
Have you already received a QR invoice? The QR code simplifies the issuing and payment of invoices. It contains all important payment information and is digitally readable. In the future, the QR bill will replace the previous red and orange payment slips.
Swiss financial institutions have already adapted their mobile and e-banking solutions so that invoice recipients can conveniently scan their QR invoices and pay them at the touch of a button. This saves time and minimizes sources of error. The QR bill can still be paid at the post office/bank counter and by means of a remuneration order.
How to donate with the QR deposit slips
You can also use the QR deposit slips to support our project work with young people in Africa and Latin America via the usual channels such as post office counter, e-banking, bank or postal order. The easiest way to donate is via e-banking or with your mobile banking app. Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone or laptop camera and trigger the donation. Please note that previous standing orders must be re-recorded with the information on the QR deposit slip.
We are aware that such a change is not only met with joy. Nevertheless, we hope that you will continue to support our projects. With the QR deposit slips our administrative effort decreases, thus your donation will be even more effective.
Many thanks for your support!
