We are deeply saddened by the untimely death of our colleague Alexandre Queiroz Menezes. Alexandre worked as the coordinator of the Brazil program for terre des hommes schweiz since 2009. Guided by the vision of a fairer world, he worked tirelessly for the rights of disadvantaged young people. His actions were always characterized by respect for the autonomy of partners and young people from rural and urban peripheries. He listened to individuals and encouraged them to find their own way, never losing sight of the bigger picture. Alexandre, we will miss you very much! O falecimento prematuro de nosso colega Alexandre Queiroz Menezes nos enche de grande tristeza. Alexandre trabalhou como coordenador do programa Brasil para terre des hommes schweiz desde 2009. Guiado pela visão de um mundo mais justo, ele trabalhou incansavelmente em prol dos direitos dos jovens desfavorecidos. Suas ações sempre foram caracterizadas pelo respeito à autonomia dos parceiros e dos jovens do campo e das periferias urbanas.
