Der frühzeitige Tod unseres Kollegen Alexandre Queiroz Menezes erfüllt uns mit grosser Trauer. Alexandre arbeitete seit 2009 als Koordinator des Brasilienprogramms für terre des hommes schweiz. Geleitet von der Vision einer gerechteren Welt hat er sich unermüdlich für die Rechte von benachteiligten Jugendlichen eingesetzt. Sein Handeln war immer geprägt von dem Respekt für die Autonomie von Partnern und Jugendlichen vom Land und aus den städtischen Peripherien. Er hörte den einzelnen zu und ermunterte sie, ihren Weg zu suchen, und verlor dabei nie das grosse Ganze aus dem Auge. Alexandre, wir werden Dich sehr vermissen! Seiner Frau Isa und seiner Familie übermitteln wir unser herzliches Beileid.
The untimely death of our colleague Alexandre Queiroz Menezes fills us with great sadness. Alexandre worked as coordinator of the Brazil program for terre des hommes schweiz since 2009. Guided by the vision of a fairer world, he worked tirelessly for the rights of disadvantaged young people. His actions have always been characterized by respect for the autonomy of partners and young people from the countryside and urban peripheries. He listened carefully to the person encouraging them to find their way, never losing sight of the big vision. Alexandre, we will miss you very much! O falecimento prematuro de nosso colega Alexandre Queiroz Menezes nos enche de grande tristeza. Alexandre trabalhou como coordenador do programa Brasil para terre des hommes schweiz desde 2009. Guiado pela visão de um mundo mais justo, ele trabalhou incansavelmente em prol dos direitos dos jovens desfavorecidos. Suas ações sempre foram caracterizadas pelo respeito à autonomia dos parceiros e dos jovens do campo e das periferias urbanas. Ele ouvia as pessoas e as encorajava a encontrar seu caminho, nunca perdendo de vista o quadro geral e a visão global. Alexandre, vamos sentir muito a sua falta!
